Mum and I went to lunch together and made up for all intents and purposes. It feels good.

We have a blacksnake living at the house here now. It's breathtakingly beautiful, long and glittery and wise and secret-eyed. I hope it stays.

Evaluation was horrible, but it always is, not really a problem. Am survived, and summer vacation starts Monday. Zara is coming Thursday. I rather want to cry with glad. The folks are coming Wednesday, which will be a little scarier, but we'll handle it. I need to finish the fic of doom that I'm working on now so I can go on with Catechism; it's all planned, just not written, as usual. I wrote the next part of The Green Delinquent, too.

I feel kind of the same way; I'd like to be nowhere near them in general, but the colorful ones are gorgeous and all of them are so sleek.

Man, it's not even June and you're done with school? Well, congratulations and have a marvelous SUMMER BREAK!
Oh, and snakes are cool. Last summer, I found one stuck to sticky tape and pulled it off myself. Then I brought it home to show my mother-unit who was like all 'Sylvie! What are you doing with that huge snake!!' and she got freaked out and stuff... Did you name him?

Yes, well, I don't get snow days or inservice days or even some holidays, so I usually finish earlier. Also I school some during the summer. :D
