a) Demanding reward. hai.
b) Timely poll! I just got home from seeing it. I thought it was terrible, but still fun in a way. And I actually did get engaged when SPOILER SPOILERED SPOILER, cause he's my favorite character...and also, the only sexual tension in the whole movie was between Norrington and Elizabeth. And that was entirely on Norrington's part. Oh, wait, there was some between that main annoying navy guy, whatever his name was, and, um, Jack Sparrow. ...>.>

We also liked the bit where monkey!Jack was freezing, cause it was cute.

I also wanted to slap them all and tell them to take some freaking voice lessons, because they were sooo completely incoherent! SUCH BAD DICTION. The ones with the legitimate accents were the easiest to understand!

...but anyway. No, I thought it wasn't very good, and was also very long. XD; sorry?

a) so what do you want? :D
b) Ah! I was thinking of it because I hadn't read a single positive review, but I pretty much did like it. And you're thinking of Beckett and Sparrow, and I think a lot of people think that. >_>

Butyes, it was very long, and it was really hard to tell what anybody was saying. XD Especially because I have hearing problems anyway and usually watch films with subtitles on. But overall I definitely liked it, so I was interested to see whether other people did, too.

Don't apologise! :D I don't mind.

I actually LOVED the movie. Saw it twice, because I found it to be highly nuanced and generally verra cool.

^__^ I would like to see it again when it's on DVD, so I could get subtitles. I have a slight hearing problem, so films I see in the theatre are usually films where I miss most of the dialogue.

To explain my answer:

I liked it overall, but it had many very serious flaws. OKay, several very serious flaws and many minor flaws.

Tia Dalma wearing nothing but rope would've been a lot hotter if it weren't so stupid looking because of the context >.>

I knowwww. I was upset by that, because it could have been so sexy, and it really wasn't. Woe. ;__;

I don't know what to say. The cinematography is gorgeous and Geoffrey Rush is fantastic, but it's so bad!

Because I actually forgot to comment, because I fail:

Completely contrary to most people, I absolutely hated the first Potc film and so have not seen the other two. I don't know if that counts, but!

That counts! In that case, of course, you're going against what most critics thought, which is how pretty much everybody else was with the third one, too. This fascinates me.

They hated it. XD I didn't read a single review that wasn't scathing.
