I got lost so. much. to-night. Auuugh. But I did go to Chelsey's party, and it was quite nice, she was lovely. She is graduating high school two years early. I think she can handle it, though. Also she gave me a story to beta for her. And I, special me, did not have any fits of augh and have to hide somewhere feeling sorry for myself. Except when I was in the car. But I couldn't hide then. Also I'm tired: I'm sure this is obvious. I'm very tired. I have to acolyte to-morrow, so I have to get up very early, so technically I should go to bed at a reasonable hour, but that is--unlikely. We'll see.

ONLY A WEEK. :D I am going to countdown from to-day on. Shush.

(Got lost twice, but only for about two minutes each time--it wasn't so much 'lost' as 'oh, should have taken that exit.' ^_^;;;)

(that's good! If a little annoyinger to correct, if they were off-highway exits, but still. Congratulations!)

(They were, but I just got off at the next exit, got back on maybe fifty feet down the roads at said next exit, and then re-took the missed exits. It's easy as anything compared to figuring out where one is on twisty country roads.)

(I think country roads are easier. ^^ But is maybe because I grew up on country roads. The thing that really makes me near-panic is suburbs.)

(GAAAH suburbs make me crazy. Country roads are what I like best to drive, but in case you discover you've gotten lost, there's nowhere to pull off and turn around, and you can't even pull off on the side of the road because there is no side of the road, but only a great gaping ditch that you can lose your car in. Highways are more stressful to drive, but they're easier to turn around on, I think.)

(I KNOW GOD. I can just imagine getting lost and going around and around in one for-ever. --The thing about our country roads is in the end they all lead to 11-15, if you take any of them long enough, and from there it's always easy to go home. So I don't have to worry about turning around, I just keep going. Highways are definitely easier to get back where you belong, though.)

(Aaah--our country roads all go to dirt roads eventually. So if you get lost, you can't turn around, you're on them forever, and you end up somewhere scary and shady. I suppose it's just a regional thing. ^_^;;)

(That happens in some places, but usually not Perry County. It's between two rivers, is the thing, and they eventually meet. So there's a triangle of space, and everything stays in that triangle.)
