So because everything is turning out more expensive than we ever expected, Mum is working another day a week (also her work is corrupt and evil and won't give her any health benefits if she only works part-time: apparently four days per working week is considered full time). Unfortunately, the day she is working is the day she usually spends with me. She's still spending Wednesday and Saturday with Waen.

And I -- sulked and felt sorry for myself for exactly ten minutes, and then asked her if I could share Saturday. And they said I could! See, self, this is constructive problem-solving. Why can't you do this all the time?

Waen and she are, by the way, back from the Grateful Dead Ratdog concert in Virginia, armed with half a kajillion t-shirts and a lot of blurry photographs of Bob Weir. He looks positively insane (and has crazy facial hair! that hurts my brain. My mental picture of Bob Weir definitely does not involved crazy facial hair). Waen had a pretty good time, although she went to the concert with Mum's friend Ellen's daughter Andrianna, who does not like Ratdog particularly, so Waen said she was embarrassed to boogie with the music or anything, and is a little sad that she didn't.

I, meanwhile, cried at Moll Flanders.

Five more days. ♥

(Why do I have to work to-morrow? I do not want to work to-morrow.)
