I haven't mentioned it or anything, but I've been doing a small fast for the last two weeks (it's only for two weeks). Nothing has gone wrong, but that's probably because it's not to make me lose weight. Any any rate, it's over Saturday.

Library to-morrow, and then I must come home and PACK. I laundered all my things, and sent my prescription in to-day to pick up to-morrow, and I remembered to cancel my appointment. I am amazing and wonderful, all right? Just because I did the things I meant to to-day. Also, I snuck out about an hour ago and taped coloured paper hearts to the interior of Mum's car, because she says to-morrow at work for her is going to be awful. So I thought maybe that would help, if just a little. Just the thought. Nothing practical.

Happy birthday, skyarma! Or at least LJ would have me believe so. I hope it was very lovely. ♥

Keyword... ghosts. Percy/Her is lovely, in a heartbreaking sort of way. But then again, I'm not in love with Percy, either. At least not much. ^_~ (Mr. White compares the knights to cricketers. So... there is that. Also, Merlyn brings up Hitler.)

(Ha. Yeah, that's fairly accurate. But there are parts of it I really do love, even if a large portion of it is bizarre. His Arthur really is one of my favorites in some ways, though it's funny how much I've internalized DF Orkneys as canon now. XD)

Drabble!:

In the castle, the tapestries, woven by Gawain's people for their King, hang along the walls to welcome the one who comes home. They are rich with the spirits of the Orkneys.

There were no tapestries in their mother's time. Then, when Mordred caught Gaheris to pull him away for a kiss, they ducked into another empty room, or fled to the standing stones, they sometimes laughed. Things are different now. They press close shielded by billows of red cloth, pretending the ghosts don't remind them every moment: soon they will both be orphans.

The wind drops. Red covers them.
