Information
Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.Take the quiz
This is--really quite right, I think. Honestly I thought physical touch would be highest and words of affirmation next, but because I'm alone so much of the time physically and I really, really am unbelievably happy when I'm spending good time with someone I love, it makes sense that quality time would be first. I like to go out, not just say I love you in passing. So yes.
We made Christmas cookies to-day! And I bought Nanni's present, and worked at the library, and ate too many candy canes, and went to the gym finally, and didn't work for once, and there were lots of nice people around me. I feel good.
Like most of my feeling-goods, it probably won't last past eleven, but the fact remains. ♥ Right now I am happy. To-morrow we're going carolling after I get back from work. Mama just told me she loved me and kissed my nose, which is my favourite. And I might have Manon in January, and that's the best thing of all. The Magi, one realises, didn't come until long after Christmas.
