"But Every Face it Had Your Face..."

One of my new co-workers is a girl I used to get along terribly with in first grade. She has grown up into a beautiful, thoughtful, extremely fun young woman and I am always v.v.v. happy when we are scheduled to work together. Score one for maturity.
I missed the family Christmas party because I had to work, but halfway through my shift Nicole said,--
"Hey, Soujin, do you know that guy?"
I looked around the corner of the MTO, and there was my cousin Rob, making :P :P 8) faces at me. He proceeded to buy coffee and tease me. With him were my cousin Paula, my aunt Betsy, and my second cousins Christian and Garett, who had all come by to wish me happy Christmas since I hadn't been able to be at the party.
We have a set date for moving, I have my new address memorised, we're going to Tennessee on Thursday, and I only have yet to buy a present for my Nana and for the elusive Tim, and I shall be all ready. I think. Knock on wood. (Speaking of the elusive Tim,
mhari, I may have to wait until you come to give you all your gifts? If only because I may not be able to afford Tim's present until after my next paycheck comes: I am flat broke from finishing most of my shopping this week.)
Also, Natalie and Rebecca are getting married "as soon as [they] find the time". Why yes this is the best news I have heard all year. I shall finish up with a conclusive reason of why Rebecca is a vastly important addition to our family:
Mama: Ooo, John, don't step on that!
Daddy: What is it?
Mama: I don't know!
Soujin: It's a piece of garlic. It must have broken off when you threw that big hunk at Susie and John when they came in.
Rebecca: Too bad it didn't work!

Date: 2007-12-17 05:03 am (UTC)^___^ I will. We are so happy!
*I have no idea what I was trying to say in this sentence. It appears to be one big Freudian slip.
