... I abstained from the physical gender question, and I wasn't sure if you meant natural hair or dyed hair color, so I abstained from that, too. ^__^;;
Well, by physical gender, I sort of mean--physically, what gender are you? I realise this opens the way to kajillions of arguments and different opinions, so I was trying to make it clear, but obviously I kind of fail at that.
I went with bisexual because I feel like "pansexual" is kind of a pretentious term -- no offense meant to the people who use it and don't mean it to be. That's closer to how I properly identify, I'm just not entirely comfortable with using it due to this association with it. In my mind, it's basically the same thing and the difference is really a basic technicality by gender not being binary. [/er, ramble]
-- oh, right, and my hair's dyed red but naturally brunette, so I picked the latter. :D
Sexuality-wise, I have no clue! I usually don't bother puzzling it out and just call myself heterosexual, but of course, it's a bit more complicated than that. I've actually been meaning to write about it at some point.
I put down "bisexual", not because I have had Experiences and Come Out to my entire family and feel it is part of my Identity, but because I've had enough crushes on girls I don't think I can be a TOTAL 1 on the Kinsey scale. (I don't think very many people are!)
As noted in a comment above... I picked asexual, but I actually have no idea whether I'm heterosexual or asexual. I really don't. I definitely am not sexually attracted to girls, and I definitely like looking at guys; but I don't have much interest in doing anything more than just looking. Or, indeed, much interest in seeing the guys in question remove their clothes.
If I really, really love gawking at fully-dressed men from far away, especially if they're making out with each other... what am I??? o_O
I'm starting to think this was a bad question to include. XD Everybody has such different sexual makeup and such different ways of expressing it, vocabulary-wise or otherwise.
i always feel unspecial when i fill these out and everyone else comments about how they don't fit in a box. ^^;;; ... i like my box. (but i also like non-box people. um.)
I don't know what to say for hair color. :( It's darker than blonde, but not dark enough to be brunette. Just plain old brown, really. And I would also like tickyboxes for the sexuality question, as a mostly straight-leaning probably-asexual who finds women aesthetically pleasing. Which isn't actually as complicated as it sounds. I think. Er.
Brown is fine! The purpose of this poll, to be one hundred percent honest, is a statistics exercise--I wanted to see, of a random population sampling, what the centre would be as far as hair colour and sexuality. So brown goes into my brunette file, although having met you I consider your hair blonde. :D
...also, is there something wrong with me? When I look at all the comments you got, everyone's all "MY SEXUALITY, SHE DOES NOT FIT IN A BOX" and I'm like "wow, my normalcy is abnormal." :(
So it occurred to me that I could possibly, you know, answer this poll, instead of just hassling other people who comment to your LJ (which was meant to be an amused poke, not heckling, and now I feel bad, so).
I assumed that by "physical gender" you actually meant "sex" and answered accordingly. Gender is one of those ridiculous cultural binaries that I don't ascribe to. (Granted, sex is an imaginary binary too...)
I, um. Went with "brunette" (there's that binary again!) since "brown but turns red when it feels like it" wasn't an option.
And yeah, I also would have liked a tickybox for the sexuality question. I chose "asexual" since it is the most accurate representation of me right now. But ultimately I find your lack of faith labels disturbing-- and potentially transient. And of course asexuality, by its nature, can be coupled (no-- ... oh, all right, pun intended) with any of the others...
Yes! I did! Sorry, that mistake was made out of ignorance rather than anything else--I can never figure these things out when I try actively to think about it. Sorry!
XD That's fair also. Although I personally might have called it red.
and, again! My mistake. I imagine I assumed that since I fit into a clear definition other people probably would as well, and didn't really think further than that, for which obviously the poll suffered. My apologise.
