"Everything You Had is Gone, As You Can See..."

Despite the fact that I am completely congested and may be developing an ear infection, things are going remarkably well. I got almost all my homework done over the week--in fact, all I have to do is a reading and two-page paper for Religion. I also need to go to the store and get my prescription refilled, but. That's really it. So I am looking forward to resting restively and maybe even doing some funtimes reading for myself (I read a book for myself over Spring break! one book! the first pleasure reading I've done literally since I started school back in the fall!).

I planned out my schedule for next year and during next week I have two advisor meetings to work out whether it's feasible and then on the thirtieth I register. I have a lot of hope--I think the classes I chose are all ones I'll enjoy that will also be useful, so I'm pleased with that. Also, the way I worked things out I can probably do study abroad junior year spring semester (I have absolutely stacks of mandatory major classes and those can't be taken abroad because med schools won't accept them there, in addition to which half the classes that are major reqs are only offered in either spring or fall semester, so all the timing has to be exactly right in order for me both to study abroad and graduate on time). Catholic University of Lille! ^____^ I am so excited, but I need to start taking French in earnest.

There is a perfect climbing tree in the quad in front of Sherwood. I got extremely high on Wednesday and may try again over the weekend if I am not dead. Also, Phil said he would watch a film with me this weekend. Also, I am getting a consistent B in O.chem! That's wonderful! :D :D :D Go me and my consistent B.

Despite the many mistakes I'm making, I'm starting to feel competent and prepared. I can tell it's spring. THANK YOU SAD. At least with the nice weather I have been manic all week & therefore accomplished things.

I can't wait for Easter.
