Looks like it reverted to a "basic" account for some reason, instead of a "plus" account. o_O This is especially odd because LJ doesn't even offer basic accounts anymore, as far as I know. Though they're still available to people who had them before LJ changed their policies, so I guess that might be why. In any case, though, you should be able to fix it in the account settings section, or something (not sure what it's called in the new LJ layout -- I've still got mine on one of the really old skins, from like six years ago, so everything's different...).

Yes, it's been turned back to a basic account and you can change it. It's right there on the first page if you click through to "account". There should be a table, and "account setting" should be right at the top. It should say "basic", and there'll be a link that says "upgrade". You can turn it up to "sponsored", which is the setting with the ads, if you want.

Me, I just use the basic, but that's me.
