Hey, [livejournal.com profile] lillieoz--I have a friend who is trying to get Les Miz in as many different languages as possible. Can I ask what you have?

(Same goes for RENT, apparently.)

Let's see! For Les Mis, I've got Czech, Dutch, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Japanese, Spanish, and Swedish. Multiple recordings of some. And I could possibly get my hands on more. And for Rent, I've got Dutch, German, Icelandic, Italian, Korean, Spanish, and Swedish. Wow, the internet makes it waaaay too easy to acquire music that I'll listen too once and then forget about.

(Side note - since when did LJ stop showing someone's new username when you type their old one? O.o)

yesssss excellent. Of LM can I have Czech, Dutch, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Spanish, and Swedish, and of Rent, Dutch, Icelandic, Italian, Korean, Spanish and Swedish?

Also, she was wondering what other musicals you have/recommend.

(....whoa, it did. What.)

Sure! For Hebrew I've got a highlights recording and a radio broadcast of the whole show, would she like both?

Other musicals off the top of my head and/or in alphabetical order as I skim through iTunes, sometimes keeping Les Mis and Rent in mind and sometimes not... The Fantasticks, Jane Eyre, Next to Normal, Into the Woods, Once On This Island, South Pacific, Baby, Peter Pan, Carnival, Caroline or Change, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Chess, Dreamgirls, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Evita, the Marvin trilogy (In Trousers/March of the Falsettos/Falesettoland), Finian's Rainbow, Gypsy, Illyria, In The Heights, John & Jen, The King and I, Kiss Me Kate, The Last Five Years, Parade, The Light in the Piazza, Little Shop of Horrors, Man of La Mancha, Marie Christine, Ragtime, Nine, No Way To Treat A Lady, Amour, Pippin, Promises Promises, The Secret Garden, She Loves Me, Side Show, Sleeping Beauty Wakes, Sweeney Todd, Taboo, Tick Tick Boom, Triumph of Love, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Urinetown, Violet, West Side Story, The Wild Party, the other The Wild Party, Zanna Don't, and Zombie Prom. Etcetera. And if she's interested in any other musicals, I probably have them, too. Um. Yeah.

(Eljaaaay, stop being weeeeeird!)

I shall start uploading in the morning. :D Oh, and I wouldn't be surprised if she has Tick Tick Boom already, because of the Rent connection, but I also have it in Danish!

She asked if she could have Peter Pan, Mystery of Edwin Drood, Last Five Years, Promises Promises, Side Show, Sweeney Todd, Urinetown, West Side Story. And Zombie Prom.

And was wondering if you have the full recording on Rocky Horror Picture Show--it turns out I only had selections to give her.

She is very very excited. XD And you are the queen of musicals, which I hope you feel happy about.

Sure thing! Any idea which recordings she'd prefer for Promises, Sweeney, and West Side Story? I've got a few.

I don't, but I can easily get it. *coughs* And have the revival recording, if she's interested in that!

*beams!*

She says can she have "not the revival of Sweeney Todd, the revival of Promises Promises and the original West Side Story", and both Rocky Horrors!

I'm not lillieoz, but I've got two recordings in French, one or two in Japanese, one in Spanish, and assorted English recordings. And a link I should send you if I can find it again. *cough*

I think I'm basically set? I already gave her Red and Blue cast Japanese, because I actually own those (dear God), and the others I know Lillie has. But thank you!

Oooh, links.

Sure!

The Finnish is a partial recording, but here's what I have: http://www.sendspace.com/file/hw0ho8

The Basque one is actually an unreleased studio recording that includes I Saw Him Once and Little People: http://www.sendspace.com/file/hw0ho8

Rest are coming soon, I just need to archive & upload them. Sorry for taking forever on this, back-to-school is eating my brain.

The Polish bootleg is a little odd--it's missing some tracks, but I think they're included in a "bonus CD" folder that might've been recorded on a different night. http://www.sendspace.com/file/lh3ott

Catalan bootleg: http://www.sendspace.com/file/8r7zgd
