Oh--
mhari? I don't want to be a bother, and I certainly shan't ask you to if you haven't time, but if I write out profiles for my four new DF socks, will you add them to my sock drawer page? I have thirteen altogether and I can't keep track of them at all...
O_o Can't sleep. Too excited to be home.
P.S. Present for you on DF,
lillieoz.
Who else here likes Jim Croce?

Date: 2005-06-11 09:02 am (UTC)My dad always listened to Jim Croce when I was growing up (mostly the "Don't Mess Around with Jim" sort of songs), but I like the slower, more melancholy ones like "Box 10" and "Operator." The other ones are fun, but the sadder ones please me more.
He just had such a good grasp on simple story-telling of the things that happen in life to regular people.

Date: 2005-06-11 09:06 am (UTC)My Da's the one who bought the CD. I am wickedly fond of Leroy Brown, but I really like Operator and the one I think is called Age. There are also a few which I think fit into a middle category, like the Blood of Our Land one and Well-Meaning Lies one; and also the One Hand on the Bible one (because Soujin knows no titles, facepalm).
Yes. His storytelling is good, and I really do love his music.
...and, of course, Roller Derby Queen never fails to make me laugh like an idiot.

Date: 2005-06-11 09:09 am (UTC)"Roller Derby Queen" and "Rapid Roy the Stockcar Boy." Wow are those some bizarro but fun songs. ;)
Hm, yeah, and "Hard Way Every Time," the kind of songs that are hopeful if still a bit sad.

Date: 2005-06-11 09:12 am (UTC)Ohhh, yes. Yes, indeed. ^__^ Though I haven't heard Rapid Roy the Stockcar Boy, the name is promising enough in itself.
*nods* Yes. Like that.
