A ridiculous thing is: that I still check behind my bathroom door for vampires every time I go in. I don't know why vampires. I don't know why my bathroom door and no other door. I just have to look, or I might get attacked from behind and all my blood drained out. I am an astonishingly silly little creature.
Also I am done with 1984, so I can start Washington Square and then Claudius the God. Good. Bwee.
I am failing Astronomy. The Celestial sphere is a conspiracy of cartographers-- no, truly! It is. It's a ridiculous map that makes no sense whatsoever. On the other hand, I have finally mastered direct variation and the formulae therefor, which previously had been reducing me to tears.
Sometime soon (perhaps to-morrow) I wish to write and think about being a eucharistic minister. It's a--funny thing. But I shall write about it soon, I shall.
I am so tired--I am going to bed now, I truly am. Perhaps to-morrow I'll feel more alive.
I love Mum. I don't know how to say it enough. I love her so much. She's an amazing woman, and I feel so incredibly awfully impossibly lucky-- I just love her terribly.
This is a post of random unrelated things. I should finish it off with one more random unrelated thing. Give me a moment, I'll think of something.
...Ah, yes! Romaine tried to give me a heart attack to-day. Honestly. She stood up and got out of her wheelchair and then tried to walk into the lobby, and I only just caught her in time and got her to sit back down before she fell oh good Lord--! Yes. Romaine, like Albert, is one of those of my people who seem to enjoy making me into a nervous wreck. I say this in the fondest possible way, understand. ^__^
Oooh, also. I have a new and beautiful pair of wine-red socks with silver stars on them.

Date: 2005-10-16 10:51 pm (UTC)My other nervous spot is the stairs. Hate them in the dark. But that's not vampires, it's Nameless Dread, because of Little Orphan Annie, the poem, where the Gobble-uns get a girl on the stairs.
