1. I HAVE A DATE! I HAVE A DATE! :D :D :D :D We're going to go out for lunch and watch a movie in Camp Hill. :D :D :D :D :D I am so excited. So excited, in fact, that I called Mum, which brings us to number two.
2. I happened, when I called Mum, to say something along the lines of 'so I finished my double-batch of cookies for the bake sale. When should I take them over?'. To which she ellipsed, and then said, 'Hon. The bake sale was this morning. I--totally thought you knew that'. ^_^;;;! I didn't! So, that brings us to number three.
3. I have a double batch of chocolate-chip toffee-bit cookies! And nothing to do with them! ...First person to comment gets a care package. :D No nuts or nut byproducts. Half of them are going to Miss Kylee, natch, but the other half are up for grabs. ^__^ Any takers?
4. I have a date! ^____________________________^ A platonic date with an absolutely fantastic woman. I NEVER DO THIS. I never make a date to meet a friend and see a movie. I did it, like, once. With Taira, right, lovey? But that's it. This is the first time I've gone 'HEY, SMART COOL PERSON I KNOW, HOW ABOUT I TAKE US TO A MOVIE? :D'. I'm so exciiiiiiited. ^___________^!!!!!
5. In case you aren't going to rid me of these cookies (seriously, I'm begging you. they have no home. the horses will eat them if no one takes them), I tried a little of the batter, and I have to say, this is one of the best batches I've ever made. Wow. O_O I don't, as a rule, like cookie dough a whole lot. Maybe it was the ratio of butter to oil, but eep. They're good! They're really good!
6. Cleaned the kitchen! :D Now I am going to watch a bad movie.
7. The time on my journal is off. *blinks*

Date: 2006-10-08 03:49 am (UTC)All right then...!
Well, I'd seen it before, of course, but not for a while. It was all right, but not as good as the original Terminator film, which is a perfect blend of sci-fi and action. And it very 80s-chic. (It came out the year before I was born! :D) The second one got a little mushy, though. I'll probably have a quiz on these on Monday. XD (--Good. That's good. I like Saturday. I am going to try to start them before I go to bed tonight, and then finish them up tomorrow.)

That makes sense. Well--the first ones are usually better than the later ones, aren't they? And sequels are almost always bad, although to-day I found a sequel that was better than the first film. (Is a good day. Daddy says sometimes it helps just to write out all your thoughts, no matter how badly you're writing, so that you have all the things you know you want to talk about or use; and then to come back the next day and shape them.)

Date: 2006-10-08 04:05 am (UTC)And sequels are very rarely better than the original-- I hear that T3 is legitimately bad, and the Jurassic Park franchise is a testament to this as well. Which sequel was that? (--That's what I generally do, more or less, but right now I am at a loss for a thesis.)

Date: 2006-10-08 03:02 pm (UTC)Well, yes. Jurassic Park wins at getting worse as it goes on. ...And I don't want to admit what I was watching, if that's okay. Even my excuse that I love to watch bad films probably won't bail me out for this one. (*snugs* For which one?)
