Update on sheep situation:

It turns out there are two, and I do not know whether they're male or female yet--their names are tentatively Rufus and Robin, but that's subject to change. They're weanlings, so they're not that tiny, and they need to be gentled badly. I need to get my driver's license so I can drive up every day to see them and get them used to me.

I'm so happy and excited. Bwee.

Waen is going to Cleveland to-morrow, so it's just me this weekend. Me with plenty to keep me busy. ^^ I finished Anna Karenina and have started Tom Jones. It reminds me of the Rise of Silas Lapham (which I finished yesterday). I also finished Peter and the Shadow Thieves, and I can just. see. that Mr. Barry wants to write another one, to which I can only say AUGH NO. On Friday I'll start I Am Mordred and as soon as that's done it will be me rereading The Savage Damsel and the Dwarf and snickering at everything in it because I am rilly mature. Also need to get out Rosemary Sutcliff books already, hi Soujin.

Easter lillies still are beautiful! Also, we have a bear. It has been chomping on stuff during the night.

Rufus and Robin are excellent names for sheep. Very excellent. But Rufus is an awesome name for anything.

Is it a polite bear? "Stuff" is not people, is it?

Thank you. --I rather agree.

Stuff is trashcans and bird feeders, and it is not particularly polite, no.

Opinion on Anna Karenina sought.

Which is the cooler story? Anna/Vronsky or Kitty/Levin? Or did you hate everyone in the book?

Just curious.

Cooler I don't know, but I liked Kitty/Levin better. I felt bad for Anna and Vronsky, but I kept wanting to slap them both. >_>

I want an abridged version that cuts all the Anna/Vronsky crap. They're both shallow stupid annoying people, and I had a massive crush on Kostya. And Kitty is adorable.

Oh, no, but I think it's really important to have the juxtaposition, because really Kitty and Levin are everything Anna and Vronsky aren't, and I think you have to have all of them.
