FOR THE EDIFICATION OF THE WORLD AT LARGE. Arthurian stuff.

Item one: My Mordred paper doll, courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] snowyofthenight: O hai, I am Mordred and an extra from Prince Valiant.

Item two: The family tree/relationship chart for the families Pendragon, Orkney, Pellinore, and... Morgan le Fay. Behold. And ignore the smudge in the corner.

Item three: Sagramore's minute of fame: A cameo appearance in The Boy's King Arthur.

Haha. Since like...7th grade, I think? When I picked up "Once and Future King" and then library cataloged "King Arthur" and took out EVERY BOOK. :D

I, for one, find Mordred-doll's bob and minidress most amusing.

Oh, for--I'm looking in that family tree for ties to the Merovingian line. Are you aware of any Arthuranic Conspiracy-Theory novels?

Oh! That's the Mordred from the Arthurian paperdolls that I have! I should scan them in sometime.

And I absolutely love the Arthurian family tree - I spent much of my fifth grade trying unsucessfully to make those in the backs of my notebooks. :) (We do need a word for Morgan le Fay's side of the family, don't we?)

Really? Isn't it excellent and wonderful?

^___^ Thank you! I really worked on it. And--yes! She doesn't get her husband's lineage the way Morgause does. The... Gore Family Tree? Cripes.

In a certain sense. :D

You're welcome! And, while the Gore Family Tree would be oddly appropriate, it is just terrible sounding. Sometimes I think of her as Morgan of Cornwall, but I don't think that would really work either.

:D

I know. It's so--can't pin it down. Nothing really works or sounds right, you know?
