So it's three-forty in the morning, I'm hiding in the hotel bathroom, and the upshot of all of this is that I won't have internet access (although it's been limited anyway, hello home) until at least Tuesday next. So I would like preemptively to wish everybody happy Christmas and other assorted appropriate wintry holidays; I adore all of you. <333
Also, that if you'd like you should request a drabble for Christmas, because I'll be home with nothing to do a lot AFTER Tuesday next and I need to do more writing. Primarily looking at Arthuriana here because I am horrible and not into that many other fandoms right now, at least not that I'm feeling. >_> BUT if you want one-hundred words of Arthurian or any-roleplay-game-I'm-in please just let me know!
Other news is that they decided there was a little piece of possible skin cancer in my side and removed it, and I got three whole stitches :D :D :D and they go off in ten days which is TOO LONG MY GOD THEY ITCH aghh I can't take it. OH and I don't have a thyroid disorder, it's just that normal iron levels are 60-113 and mine is 30.
ALSO and I will take a picture but I GOT THE MOST AWESOME SHEEP EVER for Christmas. I got him early for divers reasons and his name is Francis and he's almost as big as me HOW awesome is THAT? AWESOME and also that I got my grades back for this semester and I PASSED organic chemistry II with a C+ GO ME because that class seriously was EVIL ON WHEELS and you know I might be a little punchy, I think I'm going to bed now.
I hope they don't want me to drive to-morrow because I am going to be fuck-all use.
Edit: DELE DELE DELE I GOT ACCEPTED FOR THE NZ PROGRAMME BUT THEY WANT ME TO GO TO HAMILTON WHERE IS THAT EVEN?

Date: 2009-12-22 04:12 pm (UTC)I am glad about the following things: no thyroid troubles, OChem, awesome sheep, NZ!!
I frown upon the following things: skin cancer, no interwebs, low iron.
I would adore a drabble, but since I do not write fic gifts I always feel like a horrible greedy thing that is greedy asking for them. But I do love them. (I have saved all of yours in easily accessible to me spots so I can read them when I need happy things.) But since you have offered I will ask anyhow. I would like a Wee!Sagramore drabble (I was pining for him last night) or I would also accept a Gary of any stripe.
ILU SO MUCH

Date: 2009-12-29 04:22 am (UTC)Me too!
And, really, the nice thing is that all of those things are correctible--at least, the potential skin cancer is out, the internets are back now, and I have a pill for my iron.
Pff, don't feel greedy at ALL. Or wallow in your greed; that is always fun. Anyway, I have not got your drabbles done yet, BUT I WILL. Soonest.
ILU TOO HOW WAS YOUR CRIMMAS?

Date: 2009-12-29 07:50 pm (UTC)My Crimmas was good! It's kind of still going on, sort of, which is why I am scarce on teh interwebs and also why I still owe you a tag on Britannia b/c it's wacky social-item times over here.

Date: 2010-01-01 07:06 am (UTC)As soon as he notices he makes the journey, as easy as it thankfully is. Her tent is there where it always is, and Sagramore suddenly wishes he had brought something, a gift of some kind, liquor or nuts and figs or even jewels, something for her to have. When he stammers an apology to her, though, she just takes his smooth cheek in her hand and kisses him.
The kiss, more than anything, makes him regret the time he's missed. She is the warm truth and understanding, she is the one who he almost dares to think knows him to the heart, knows him as well as Mordred. Bedded down in the blankets in her tent, she feels the same as she did a month ago.
He's amazed at how relieved he is.

Date: 2010-01-02 01:21 am (UTC)I love this. (And it's a good thing he didn't bring a gift. She's worse at accepting gifts than she is at accepting compliments.) He's been good for her.
We need to thread with them soon, whenever life slows down a little. :)
ILU SO MUCH. Thank you thank you.

Date: 2010-01-01 07:15 am (UTC)"Shh." He holds up his hand, silencing her, and she realises he's nestling Lunete against his chest, holding her carefully to him. "She's sleeping, don't wake her. I got her to sleep."
"Thyself?" Lynet comes a step closer.
"Aye, for the first time." He smiles at her, and it's a radiant smile, a smile such as she hasn't seen in years, not since the madness began to take him. God, who would have guessed that exile, of all damned things, would have helped? Out here with nothing but heather and herself, and he's getting better, he's finally getting better. "Look at her."
"Aye, she's her father's daughter, she's snoring."
Gaheris laughs under his breath. "She is not."
"Listen to her!"
"I have been. I could hear her heartbeat. Oh, Christ, she's the most beautiful child in the world."
She rolls her eyes, but she goes to him all the time, and smooths back Lunete's hair. "If she looked like the devil's own, thou wouldst say it anyway."
"She looks like her mother."
"Thou prove'st me in the right."
"Ah, ah, wife, th'art growing contentious. Let me put her down and I'll come to thee."
Lynet watches him settle Lunete in the wooden cradle he built during the long winter before she was born. He looks like any other man. Oh God, like any other man.
She's dreading the day the exile ends.
