Soon I will be doing a primer on psalms (DON'T SAY A WORD. THAT IS VERY SRS BSNS), but for now I just want you to know that my father thinks I am going to die because I tripped on the sidewalk in the rain yesterday and took all the skin off my knee and part of my leg. He made some reference to 'deadly sidewalk bacteria', I don't even know, anyway so far all it's doing is draining cirrus fluid like a mother and I am kind of regretting the fact that I only took my cute pink Hello Kitty bandaids to Altoona with me. Because they are not really big enough to do anything for this denudation (I took photographs! because I am a person who does things like that).

SO to-morrow I go to Williamsburg. I am allotting myself about fifteen to twenty minutes for getting lost. I am excited, though, I think it will be fun. I know I'm on pediatrics on Friday, but I don't know what I'll be doing the rest of the week. Oh, and Thursday is OMT day, so basically we wander around watching people get therapeutic massage all day long. Maybe they will therapeutically massage me if I ask nicely.

IN THE MEANTIME I would like recommendations for the following:

*Mohindar/Matt
*Mohindar/Sylar
*Spock/Kirk
*Spock/McCoy
*Spock/Kirk/McCoy
*Isaac/Hiro

INDULGE ME. And if you are not familiar with Heroes or Trek, then I demand other fic, specifically Arthurianslash in any form from anyone who dabbles in it.

(I am a little manic to-day. But good! Should I have eggs or leftover chicken for supper?)

I will totally write ANY OF THOSE FOR YOU. THEY ARE THE PAIRINGS I LIKE.

... but, uh, I have no knowledge of Star Trek beyond the current film. >_>;; Is this a problem?

Not really! I like TOS best of all, but new film made me happy too, so I would be delighted by anything you happened to write.

Give me a prompt/direction/narrower focus, then, and I'll try to spin you out something nice.

Ugh, I did that to my knee a couple of weeks ago when I fell off my bike. It did the same thing, lots of icky draining, but it seems to have healed completely now, so I wouldn't worry too much about deadly sidewalk bacteria. ;) However, ow. And, yes, futility of bandaids. :P

And, heh. I haven't been reading any New Trek fic, but if you're interested in old-school Trek too, I might be able to oblige in that area. At least as far as Kirk/Spock. (I like Spock/McCoy, too, but have yet to find any decent fanfic about the pairing.) Of the ones I've read, these are some of my favorites so far... they're all NC17 and a bit angsty, I'm afraid. ;)

Only Logical
Actually, come to think of it, this one is only, like, PG, and hardly angsty at all. And it's got quite a bit of plot, too. Takes place after The Motion Picture, I think; anyway Kirk and Spock are instructors at Starfleet Academy. Kirk wants to take Spock out for Kirk's birthday. It drops off a bit at the end, but overall it's really cute. :)

Business as Usual
This takes place after the episode "Requiem for Methuselah," at the end of which Spock erases some memories from Kirk's mind. I like it because, like the story above, it actually has something resembling a plot, and also the guys are really in character. Er, until the sex scene. You know how that goes.

Pacing the Cage
Four chapters long. Takes place after TOS, but before the movies. "Kirk is in a relationship with a woman, and Spock meets a Vulcan woman. It's time for decisions." Things get kind of excessively h/c and schmoopy in the last couple of chapters, but other than that it's pretty good.

Hungry
This one's pretty short. Takes place after The Motion Picture. I actually skipped the sex scene on this one, so I have no idea how that is, but I liked the rest of it. ;)

Sorry I can't help with any new movie stuff. You can always check out [livejournal.com profile] kirkspock, though, there's a lot of new stuff being posted there lately.

I am not worried--I do this kind of thing on a regular basis. XD Daddy is just getting more and more hilariously fretful in his old age, and it is my job as his daughter to mock him.

I actually have a preference for old-school, just because so far I have a better handle on their personalities. Apparently we will have to write our OWN Spock/McCoy, dammit.

Thank you so much! Eeeeee. Bounty!

XD Yeah, parents. When my mom saw my knee she was like OH GOD WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU. And I was like, um. I lost some skin? It grows back...

Apparently we will have to write our OWN Spock/McCoy, dammit.

We should totally get on that. XD

Seriously. XD The only real annoyance is the leakage.

We really should. Sigh.

By the way, thank you for the recs! The first one especially has just the most gorgeous language.
